Have
fun on the water at Capdenac’s special boating area on the
Lot. Open in July and August, you can hire pedalos, canoes, motor
boats and enjoy a trip along 3 km of the river which has been specially
cordoned off.
From May to September the Rowing Club at Bouillac also
offers canoe hire, rowing boats and pedalos for half or whole day
trips.

| The River Lot flows gently through
the region offering plenty of good fishing (eg perch, pike). |
|
The River Diège, which
feeds into the Lot, is highly regarded for fishing. It begins at Salles-Courbatiers
and enters the Lot at Saint-Julien-d'Empare (in the commune of Capdenac).
It is particularly well stocked with trout. Remember you need a fishing
permit to fish anywhere in France - we can advise on this. |

There’s a good
range of footpaths around Capdenac– plenty to enjoy on foot,
on a bike or on horseback.Seven footpaths leave from Capdenac.
A booklet listing 22 footpaths is available from the Office de
Tourisme.
